BANLAW REFUELING SYSTEMS

BANLAW FuelTrack™
The Banlaw FuelTrack™ electronic fuel monitoring system provides a secure, efficient and user friendly hydrocarbon management solution.

With a Banlaw FuelTrack™ system, the fuel use of every machine and vehicle can be individually monitored and analysed with precision. Banlaw FuelTrack™ provides an exact record of all fuel used on site, including that supplied by service trucks.

Banlaw FuelTrack™automatically keeps track of fuel and oil inputs and outputs and is able to export this information to a computer either on-site or at a remote location.

The ability to manage reconciliation of fuel usage, tax credit reports and thorough auditing of all hydrocarbon use on site makes FuelTrack™ a powerful management tool.

It assists with fuel security, environmental compliance, stock reconciliation, maintenance scheduling, the calculation of burn rates and fuel ordering.

The system is readily adaptable to track the use of all oils (hydraulic, engine and transmission) as well as detergents and chemicals.

The need for management to know exactly how much fuel is being used, by which machines and when is readily available with the Banlaw FuelTrack™ system. Data can be readilly exported to all mine management programs. The system is compatible with all Banlaw products and systems.

A Banlaw FuelTrack™ system can have a dramatic impact in reducing unauthorised uses and/or losses of fuel. By enabling an accurate tracking of use by each vehicle, total fuel usage can be easily reconciled with total fuel purchase, thereby enabling operators to pinpoint excessive use patterns or specific system inefficiencies.

    Benefits to your business
    • Precise, automated monitoring of fuel and other liquids.
    • Accurately reconcile fuel usage and tax credit reports to ensure complaince and maximise tax credits.
    • Minimise fuel wastage.
    • Ensure fuel security and stock reconciliation.
    • NMI accredited.

BANLAW FILL SAFE™
The Banlaw FillSafe™ overfill protection system provides zero overfill, zero tank pressure and zero spillage during refuelling in any environment.

Features include:

  • Reduced loss of fuel from spillage or tank rupture;
  • Reduced need for maintenance because the zero tank pressure environment extends the working life of the machine’s tanks;
  • Improved environmental outcomes;
  • Reduced chance of OH&S related risks through zero spillage.

The Banlaw FillSafe™ system is available as either a fully electronic or hydraulic system depending on the specific site requirements.

Linked sensors fitted in the refuelling receiver and the fuel tank ensure the tank is completely full, and then cut of the fuel flow without tank pressurisation. The leak free connection between nozzle and tank ensures zero spillage, zero tank pressure and simultaneously prevents any contaminants entering the fuel tank – delivering improved performance outcomes and reduced downtime for each machine. Cleaner fuel also means improved filter and injector life, delivering further savings in machine related expenses.

OVERFILL PROTECTION/ZERO PRESSURE SYSTEMS
A feature of Banlaw’s fluid transfer systems, Banlaw FillSafe™, is their ability to eliminate overfilling and the resultant problems associated with that occurrence.

By enabling the fluid transfer to occur in a zero pressure environment, refuelling tanks suffer less stress and fatigue induced from continual tank pressurisation during refuelling.

Purpose designed sensors in the refuelling receiver and refuelling tank communicate during the transfer process and automatically cut off supply when the tank is full. This eliminates the problems associated with conventional pressure related cut-off systems.

The benefits include:

  • No environmental contamination by spilt hydrocarbons;
  • Zero wastage of hydrocarbons;
  • Reduced pressure, stress and fatigue on the fuel tank seams, leading to reduced machine down time for non-scheduled maintenance.

Either electronically or hydraulically activated cut off sensors are available, depending on the specific requirements of particular operations.

Banlaw also manufactures a range of purpose designed tank vents. These are recommended to ensure the maximum efficiency of the refuelling system.

BANLAW FILLSAFE™ ELECTRONIC
The original version of the cut off system that ensures automatic control at all times. At each fluid transfer tanks are filled to capacity, without overfilling, spillage or waste.

BANLAW FILLSAFE™ HYDRAULIC
Where electronic components could cause a work place hazard, or where electronics are not practical, hydraulic sensors provide an alternate method of activating the cut off.

LubeCentral Oil Coupling Systems
Banlaw's purpose designed hydrocarbon managment systems make oil transfer a clean. efficient and safe operation. Banlaw LubeCentral™ also make ground level change out of oil and coolants possible, enhancing safety.

The Banlaw LubeCentral™ control system is desined to minimise grease and oil service times, and makes possible the simultaneous change out of all oils and grease in a particular machine at the one time.

As with Banlaw's Refuelling technology, the completely sealed connections between the issue point and the machine mean that the risk of contamination is significantly reduced. Similarly the system ensure zero spillage in the transfer process, helping to eliminate environmental contamination and potential OH&S issues.

Depending on your particular needs Banlaw has an oil transfer system to suit.

BANLAW LUBECENTRAL™ COUPLINGS
Establish in the industry as a reliable dry break means of hydrocarbon transfer Banlaw's standard couplings are the best solution. A unique coupling is provided for each oil, grease or coolant type, eliminating the possibiltiy of errors.

Banlaw LubeCentral™ Flush Face Couplings
Banlaw's newest range of couplings, the Flush face series makes it simpler to ensure zero contamination from site related dirt. The Flush Face coupling is designed to enable the operator to wipe the coupling face clean before engaging in the transfer hose. No exposed recesses means that only clean oil, grease or other fluid is transferred from the service unit to machine.

Banlaw's Flush Face Couplings enable rapid servicing of individual machines, and makes possible very short down times. The same dry break technology, unique coupling types and total system integrity are incorporated in the Flush Face Coupling systems, as well as colour coordinated components and unique nozzle/reciever connection, eliminating Hydrocarbon cross contamination.

Banlaw LubeCentral™ Additional Components
LubeCentral is a scalable system, and Banlaw are able to provide additional components as required to ensure that your system continues to deliver maximum efficiency and to meet changing needs.

BANLAW REFUELING SYSTEMS
Banlaw manufactures, installs and supports purpose designed refuelling systems that deliver an environmentally responsible management of fuel & oil resources, create safer working environments and enhancing overall efficiency for mining operations.

Banlaw's extensive experience in hydrocarbon management means that we understand the particular needs of mining operatitions for robust and efficient refuelling systems that are scalable and reliable.

Banlaws refuelling system is the core element in all hydrocarbon management systems. This is a quick fill, fully dry break, fully sealed system that provides a leak free connection between the fuel tank and fuel source.

Features include:

  • Leak free refuelling,
  • Dry break connectivity,
  • Automatic tank level monitoring
  • Automatic termination of fuel flow once the tank is full.
  • Can accommodate quick fill procedures up to 1000l/minute (265 gallons/ minute)

HI FLOW
Banlaw's HiFlow System enables significant reduction in the time taken to refuel mining equipment, thereby enabling each machine to spend an increased amount of time in operation.

Flow rates of up to 1000 litres per minute or 265 gallons per minute are possible with the HiFlow system.

Over the life of an individual machine, the actual work time increase is significant. In some instances, where Banlaw have installed their HiFlow system, clients have been able to forgo the need to purchase additional equipment, further enhancing the savings delivered by the Banlaw system and the improvement to the overall bottom line performance.
